The term ‘perishable foodstuffs’ refers to food products that require specific storage and transport conditions (humidity, temperature, storage, etc.) and which are considered prohibited items. They are divided into two categories:
- Perishable foodstuffs with an expiry date of less than 10 days: these are prohibited items. For example: eggs, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.
- Perishable foodstuffs with an expiry date of more than 10 days: These can be shipped, however they will travel without any extra protection or coverage (no compensation items), such as pasta, soup, tins, etc.
Any shipment of perishable goods may result in the automatic cancellation of your order, and the shipment may be retained or destroyed.
