We have specialised services for shipping pallets or bulky goods (such as furniture, etc.). Below we provide useful information on how to pack them properly.
Tips
When the courier arrives to collect the pallet, make sure that it is available in an accessible place so it can be loaded onto the vehicle without any problems.
Both sender and recipient must have pallet trucks, raising platforms, etc., to move the items. Otherwise, the carrier may apply additional charges for requiring special handling.
Important
Both pick up and delivery services will be provided on the ground floor, at the entrance of the building.

Packaging instructions
Once you have gathered all the materials, please follow these instructions to avoid any damages:
Sending boxes on a pallet
- Stack the boxes in the center of the pallet and distribute them to cover the entire surface of the pallet. Use a uniform stacking system to ensure stability and form a single compact bundle.
- Protect the corners of the boxes with expanded polyethylene corners and profiles.
- Wrap all sides of the boxes with several layers of plastic wrap / shrink wrap.
- Secure the boxes to the pallet with polypropylene straps, pulling them crosswise, to prevent movement of the goods during transport.
- Make sure that the boxes are firmly in place, do not slip, and do not protrude from either side of the pallet.
- Attach the shipping label to the outer side of the pallet using enough packing tape to prevent it from coming off, without covering the barcode.
Sending bulky goods or furniture on a pallet
- Wrap the whole item with polystyrene sheets, at least 10 cm of thickness.
- Place the item inside the cardboard box in a vertical position at least 5 cm away from borders to avoid possible damage due to shocks or vibrations during transport.
- Protect borders using expanded polyethylene corners and profiles.
- Make sure there are no gaps and that the contents do not move when the box is shaken. Use sufficient filler material and shock absorbers (formable foam, polyethylene foam, foam chips/shavings, inflatable packaging, etc.).
- Close and seal the cardboard box with good quality and resilient packing tape.

Sending furniture without a pallet
- If possible, disassemble the larger parts and/or pieces of the furniture (such as chair or table legs, shelves, etc.) to reduce the risk of damage and facilitate packing.
- Wrap the entire piece of furniture with polystyrene sheets, at least 10 cm of thickness.
- Wrap individually disassembled parts and/or pieces with cushioning materials at least 5 cm of thickness.
- Place the item inside the cardboard box in a vertical position at least 5 cm away from borders to avoid possible damage due to shocks or vibrations during transport. Then place the rest of the parts and/or pieces, making sure that they are well protected and separated from each other.
- Protect borders using expanded polyethylene corners and profiles.

Coverage
