If you decide to ship electronics with Packlink, special attention must be paid to the packaging, given the fragility of these types of goods.
In this case, you should ideally use the manufacturer’s original packaging – for example, when shipping televisions and computers. If you have not kept this, we recommend that you follow these tips:
- Use a rigid and sturdy box.
- Separate articles from the walls of the box with at least 5 cm of padding material. If you are shipping several items, we advise you to protect each item individually using bubble wrap, for example, and to separate these in order to avoid any contact between them.
- Use packaging foam to stabilise the product within the box.
- Do not mix electronic items with liquids.
Please do not hesitate to consult our section on packaging tips.
