If your goods have been damaged, the insurance department will require a minimum of three photographs:
- A photograph of the damaged goods in their entirety: the photograph must show all damages. If several items have been damaged, one photograph showing all damaged items will suffice.
- A photograph of the external packaging, in which the carrier’s shipping label is visible. The photograph should be able to show that the shipment has been made by DPD and verify that the claim corresponds to the order in question. Take care to ensure that these details are legible.
- A photograph of the internal packaging: the photograph should show that the packaging and protection used were sufficient to protect the content. We recommend taking a photo of the goods within the packaging, as they were delivered to the recipient.
Note: the goods and packaging must be retained in the state in which they were received and should not be handled before inspection.
